Already starting work on their fifth studio album, the boys of 1D were stunned by Zayn’s decision to leave the group. But his abrupt departure has only inspired the group to make their most amazing music yet. A source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about how Harry Styles, 21, and co. plan to do it without Zayn.

Harry, along with Niall Horan, 21, Louis Tomlinson, 23 and Liam Payne, 21, is more pumped than ever to finish up work on 1D’s fifth album. A source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Zayn quitting has pushed them to give it their all when it comes to crafting new tracks.
“Zayn’s departure has definitely lit a fire under their asses. The boys are convinced [their next album] will be their biggest success yet. Liam is really the catalyst making sure everyone is focused and bringing their A game. He needn’t worry though as Louis, Harry and Niall are all on board and working hard,” the 1D source says. “Harry really wants to make his mark as a songwriter and show he’s a talented one at that. He knows this album could make or break his future musical career and is taking it very seriously.”
That’s the spirit, Harry! We’re glad he can stay so strong after Zayn left him in tears with the news that he was ditching 1D for good.
Will 1D Diss Zayn On Their Next Album?
Zayn burned his bandmates pretty badly, so should he expect to get dissed by his former friends on some of their new tracks?
“One Direction are even toying with a song inspired by Zayn quitting the band. It wouldn’t be a diss track or call him out by name or anything like that,” the source explains. “The discussions have just been about channeling the emotions surrounding the situation in to a song. You write what you know and his leaving was a big moment in their lives. They will just not let their first album without Zayn fail.”
